Training provided    
 
Full onsite training will be provided with all franchisees, we tend to train on the job so you can learn about the unique Thermawood processes and tooling, so you can earn as you learn.  
 
The Thermawood training also extends to the measure and quoting with robust systems in place to be easily replicated from our training manuals.

Onsite generally takes 2 weeks but further training is always available and also head office support at all times.    
 
Skills  
 
 While trade skills are an advantage they are not necessary, we have trained many people that have had no trade expeience, if you have the right attitude all our systems are user friendly, as long as you are fit and healthy for onsite work and some lifting we can train you to install the Thermawood system.    
 
Length of Agreement    
 
10 years initially with the right to renew the agreement for another 10 years.

The unique Thermawood Retro-Fit Double Glazing system and installation processes are a patented dry glazed drainage system designed to install double glazing into existing wooden windows. Retro-Fitting fitting double glazing into existing wooden windows allows the home owner to Retain the character of their windows, be more energy efficient, reduce energy costs and reduce noise.
 
Along with installing double glazing Thermawood installers also fit draft/acoustic seals to all types of windows including double hung windows, casement windows and doors.

By installing sealed double glazed units this allows the Thermawood installers to use glass for many applications, every house is acessed and the right glass type is used for either retaining heat, reflecting heat, glare, reduce noise and also the option of Argon Gas inside the double glazing for better insulation.

Generally Thermawood clients are home owners investing in their property to make a better living enviroment.

The Thermawood Retro-Fit double glazing system has been tested to AS 2047 to extra high wind zone for strenght and water penetration giving the customer peace of mind that the double glazing installed is covered by a full warranty and is installed into a full drainage system.
