Bao, and his partners, are now driven to share Mama Hoang’s established techniques and family recipes that have been tried and tested (and tasted!) over many generations, to all Australians. To deliver the same crust-crunching, noodle-slurping, sauce-squeezing, flavour-popping, lip-smacking experience, with a distinct family-centric experience that Aussies couldn’t get anywhere else. In 2012, on opening day of the first Roll’d store in Melbourne, the famed Mama Hoang rice paper rolls sold out in just 90 minutes. Today, you’ll see them rolling live in stores to keep up with demand - and they are not slowing down anytime soon!
