About the Opportunity
Touch Up Guys has cultivated a reputation of quality workmanship and remains a highly respected, locally owned and operated business. Opportunities for growth are numerous including expansion via additional mobile units.
Touch Up Guys is Australia’s market leader in mobile paint and bumper repairs offering customers a high quality alternative to traditional panel shops eliminating the inconvenience of losing their vehicles for days at a time.
As a highly trained technician using the most advanced techniques available today, you will provide high quality repairs to bumper bars, paintwork, spoilers, body kits and kerb damaged alloy wheels. Other specialties also include buffing and polishing as well as colour matching. The opportunity to expand into paintless dent removal is also available for the new owner of Touch Up Guys - Canning Vale.
With the lower costs of running a mobile business, savings are passed on to the customer with less time, money and stress spent on completing the job. Most jobs cost less than the insurance excess, saving customers from losing their insurance no-claim bonus.
The business was created in a niche market providing ‘mobile’ services initially to the commercial motor sales industry. In more recent years, the Franchise focus has expanded to include the private consumer (retail) market, capturing a higher margin sector which has enthusiastically embraced the benefits of quality, convenience and value.
You will operate from a Toyota Hiace Van with an ergonomically designed fit out that has everything at your fingertips allowing you to easily match over 55,000 automotive colours. The van will be stocked with all required consumables, plant and equipment.
History
Founded in Queensland in 1991 by Fred & Cheryl Hawken, Touch Up Guys has grown from a single ‘man in a van’ to Australia’s largest mobile paint & bumper repair operator. Based on the simple principles of service, quality and value, the business offers an extremely well established repeat and referral customer base.

Buying a business is a big deal! It can open up a new chapter in your life, expand your growing business base or fulfill that dream you’ve always had. So before you make that offer, there’s a few things you should consider to determine whether or not this business is right for you. In a nutshell these include:
In a nutshell, a business owner will ask you to sign an NDA before a deal can commence. This allows the business owner to keep certain information confidential, including client lists, employee information, intellectual property, trade secrets, pricing structures and so on, in case a deal cannot be met. Typically, NDAs are often mutual - meaning, just as you're agreeing to keeping the seller's business information confidential, the seller must also offer that same level of confidentiality to keep your information private.
Another thing to look out for is non-solicit provisions. If a seller has this clause in their NDA, you are prohibited from soliciting any of their clients or employees for yourself or your company for around 1-2 years.
Once you have submitted an enquiry to the seller, the seller can invite you to view confidential information about the listing after signing an NDA in order to conduct your due diligence. Once satisfied, you can make an offer directly to the seller in the Deal Room where a transaction can be done. Here you can also invite any advisors, brokers or lawyers you may have to help make the deal happen. You can even enlist Eden’s personal network of buying professionals to assist you with the entire buying process.
From start to finish, the entire business transaction can be done through the Eden Exchange platform.
We offer tailored financing options that work for you to get the deal done.
