There is an extra large shed with power and water connected, a double carport (large enough to accommodate a caravan) 2 rainwater tanks, a woodshed and two chicken runs. The back of the property is fully fenced and suitable to run a few sheep.

The Garden Rooms are adjacent to the main house and both have a deck and own entrance. They are well appointed with reverse cycle aircon, fridge, TV, DVD and CD players.

Both rooms are spacious with queen size beds and ensuites. Each room also has a sofa, table and two chairs and hanging space. One room is an ideal family room with a queen, a single and a trundle bed.

Our guests are varied, with many corporate people who appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms where they can write reports or just relax after work. We take the overflow of family celebrations in the town – ie birthdays, weddings etc. We also cater for the tourist trade mainly during the winter and spring months.

Dowerin will soon become the home for a Railway Museum, with some rolling stock already installed at Minnivale (part of Shire of Dowerin). Plans are well underway to have a steam train run between Dowerin and neighbouring towns. Undoubtedly this will bring many people to Dowerin!
